eBay and Willy Chavarria Team Up for Paris Men’s Fashion Week

eBay and designer Willy Chavarria joined forces to bring archival fashion back to the runway during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, showcasing a blend of new and vintage designs sourced from the e-commerce platform.

Key Highlights:
🔹 Archival Revival – Chavarria incorporated vintage pieces from his past collections, found via eBay, into his latest autumn-winter menswear show.
🔹 Fashion with Purpose – A runway-exclusive “Chuco” suit was auctioned on eBay, with proceeds benefiting the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund.
🔹 A Decade of Chavarria – The show marked the 10th anniversary of his label, featuring designs from 2016 and 2022, sourced globally from eBay sellers.
🔹 Pre-Loved Meets High Fashion – The partnership aligns with eBay’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainable, circular fashion, following previous collaborations with Balenciaga, Elton John, and Love Island UK.

Chavarria, the CFDA’s Menswear Designer of the Year (2023 & 2024), emphasized the power of reworking past collections to create fresh looks. “Scouring eBay for vintage designer fashion has been a key part of my creative process,” he shared.

The Jan. 24 all-gender show featured performances by J Balvin and Dorian Wood, concluding with Chavarria in a statement T-shirt reading, “How we love is who we are.”

This collaboration builds on eBay’s commitment to redefining pre-loved fashion, following initiatives like Pre-Loved Fashion Week in New York and London, and past partnerships with designers like Margherita Maccapani Missoni.
