Dear Sir
Advertising with www.leostylo.com
Greetings from LZ6
Hope my letterfinds you in high spirits.
I am running a fashion blog called www.leostylo.com and attempting to make India the next fashion capital. We are creative and introducing critical, analytical, theological fashion for the first time in the world from India.
Leostylo is a fashion intelligence organization
A part of this is “weird fashion” in India, along with a series on the latest fashion culture, international fashion trade shows and fashion weeks. Through my blog, I also want to bring the spotlight on people who are different. I am keen to feature men and women who are suffering from a rarest of rare diseases. I already have a few models.
LEOSTYLO is an ensemble of all that is latest and trending in the global fashion industry. India has seen a gradual yet optimistic upswing in the last decade in socio-economic development, which reflects on its fashion scene as well. Our country is hugely porous with the ability to absorb what comes and is open to embracing new possibilities. We are on a steady growth path, undeterred by any kind of odds. At this point, the elite population of the country, with its unmatched caliber of high spending, is buying from luxury brands that have already rooted themselves in the Indian market. The blog serves the international and national fashion fraternity with its valuable content. Our readers are the biggies of the fashion world, ranging from celebrated retailers to buyers, from manufacturers to key account holders and fashion designers. India still has a long way to go, in carving a niche for itself on the world’s fashion scene. If we think that Indian fashion industry is mature and knows what it is doing, then I disagree. The current fashion scenario in terms of quality and talent, research and innovation, we still have much to prove and what lies ahead is unpredictable. When we see the runway abroad we immediately see the striking contrast. Here professionalism is amiss – from the way a fashion show is presented to the overall compilation.
PROPOSAL: Leostylo is world’s first such initiative in many ways. I want you to advertise with www.leostylo.com. Fashion can be inspiring and groundbreaking but extremely weird and superfluous at the same time. I just want to simply apply western fashion theory in an Indian context, that elite becomes the street style.
Vision: Leostylo is India’s first and foremost fashion intelligence organisation based out of Aligarh, UP, India. It’s a raging cult for the ever trendy fashionistas. Leostylo is an international fashion blog that targets Business to Business (b2b), Business to Professionals (b2p) and Business to Customers (b2c) segments. We publish a wide range of news on fashion, beauty and fashion trade shows. We offer handpicked and well-thought content that includes talk shows and interviews with national and international fashion moguls, designers and stylists. We give access to dynamic runway reviews, trends and fashion forecasts from India, China, Germany, London, Paris, Milan and New York. The curated content is an amalgamation of Indian sensibilities and culture, and the chic and contemporary trends of the West, ready for the consumption in the international fraternity and vice-versa. It will act as a medium to create a ‘knowledge sourcing’ platform for the national and international fashion industry through its events, conferences and panel discussions. The blog will launch fresh faces every fortnight and also offer an array of fashion models hand-picked for various fashion brands.
AIM is to bring India on the International Fashion scene and bring international and national brands together to create a knowledge platform through www.leostylo.com. Let the world know more about the culture of India which is rich, dynamic, marvelous, and colourful.
NIPUN AUGUSTIN JACOB I am a thinker, writer, editor, trend scout, orator, poet, cook, singer and contemporary &classical dancer. I believe that fashion exists in all the spheres of life. Fashion is as vital as food and shelter. I am a latent crusader for the fashion in India. I have started my journey in the year 2006 as a customer support executive with Amazon.com, where I was a part of the Grand Prix 2007. I was in the best team of the season. I interned with The Hindu Newspaper, Metro Plus, under the then editor Zia Us Salam, India News in the Entertainment beat, and also in NIIT as a Content Tester. I kicked off my journey in the full time media in the offbeat trailblazer mind-body-spirit magazine LIFE Positive, and have worked under Suma Varughese, the former editor of Society magazine. Then I have worked in RTW, Ready to Wear Round the World, and Ministry of Textiles, India, Apparel Export Promotion Councils, Apparel India Magazine under AnnouIyer. Then I joined Images Group Business of Fashion, Salon International magazine under, RS Roy, AradhanaBhatnagar, RajanVarma, NupurChakraborty and indiaretailing.com as a business journalist, where I wrote on the Indian Fashion Business industry. I joined MEX Exhibitions as a sub-editor cum writer for their business magazines on Out of Home advertising, The Luxe Café as assistant editor, and LB Associates People and management magazine as associate editor and many more. I love to travel into the hinterlands of India to understand the culture, traditions and the real spirit of India. I love people. In my free time I love listening to music and playing chess. I am a Christian and believe in miracles. My favorite colours are black, white and hot burning red. For black is a tolerant color, very patient and absorbs all the impurities. White represents purity and red is seductive. My sun sign is Leo and if I were a girl I could not have stepped out without them—the stilettoes.
Books I have worked on— Outlook Group on Social Corporate Responsibility, The India Drive, part I and II. Images Group, the Denim Bible and Yearbook India Business of Fashion Report 2014.
Looking forward to a positive revert. Happy fashion!
Yours faithfully
