PRESSIAT is a “no-gender” brand defined as chic, provocative with a Parisian modernity
Celebrating joy, self-confidence, melancholy and combining craftsmanship, architecture and art with the world of night life. Men and women are brought into a world where all inhibitions fall away, where light triumphs over the shadowy spectrum of society.
“THE NIGHT HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN INSPIRATION…
…AT NIGHT, PEOPLE DARE, SHINE, AND TRULY REVEAL THEMSELVES”
Pressiat was launched during lockdown, believing that then, more than ever, we needed an excess of elegance, empowerment and fierceness in our lives.
In just a few seasons, the House has attracted the attention of major publications such as WWD, NUMERO, W, HARPER’S BAZAAR and US VOGUE ; who count him among the “Avantgarde” designers to follow.
Vincent Garnier Pressiat began designing his own garments from a young age, inspired by his fashion teacher mother, and his grandfather, from whom he learned the art and love of tailoring.
After graduating from l’Ecole de la Chambre Syndical de la Haute-Couture as a promising modern-day dandy chic, he joined Balmain, Saint Laurent and Maison Margiela.
Working closely with John Galliano from whom he learned the force of a rigorous eye to detail and the power of fashion for self-expression.
“I LOVE STRONG WOMEN WHO ARE NOT AFRAID OF ANYTHING. I CREATE ARMORS FOR THEM TO FIERCELY TAKE OVER
THE WORLD.”
